The House Oversight Committee has made public a batch of roughly 70 images secured from the holdings of late convicted sexual predator Jeffrey Epstein.

This marks the third disclosure from a tranche of over 95,000 images the panel has acquired from Epstein's holdings. It includes pictures of quotes from the literary work Lolita written across a woman's body, and obscured photos of women's foreign passports.

This disclosure comes hours before the December 19th due date for the DOJ to release each records related to its probe into Epstein.

"These new photographs pose further inquiries about what exactly the Department of Justice has in its custody," said the ranking member of the committee, Robert Garcia.

What's in the Photos Disclosed

Several of the photographs made public on this week depict Epstein speaking with scholar and advocate Noam Chomsky on a private plane; Bill Gates positioned next to a female whose identity is censored; Steve Bannon positioned at a table across from Epstein, and former Alphabet president Sergey Brin at a evening meal.

These are the most recent high-net-worth, powerful figures to be photographed in Epstein's estate images released by the committee - formerly published pictures also depict US President Donald Trump and past president Bill Clinton, as well as film director Woody Allen, previous US treasury secretary Larry Summers, lawyer Alan Dershowitz, Andrew Mountbatton-Windsor, and others.

Being pictured in the photos is not indication of any misconduct, and many of the pictured men have asserted they were in no way involved in Epstein's criminal activity.

In a announcement accompanying the photograph publication, Democrats on the US House Oversight Committee stated the Epstein estate's representatives did not provide context or timings for the photographs.

"Photos were picked to furnish the American people with transparency into a representative sample of the photographs received from the property, and to offer insights into Epstein's network and his profoundly troubling actions," the statement says.

The publication also contains multiple images of quotes from the Vladimir Nabokov book Lolita inscribed in ink across several locations of a female's body, like her chest, foot, hip, and back. Lolita recounts the tale of a young girl who was groomed by a adult literature professor.

A particular passage from the work scrawled across a female's chest says, "Lo-lee-ta: the point of the tongue taking a trip of three steps down the roof of the mouth to land, at three, on the teeth".

The release also contains a collection of photographs of women's passports and identification documents from states around the world, like Lithuania, Russia, the Czech Republic, and Ukraine.

The majority of the data on the documents, such as names and birth dates, is redacted but the panel stated in a announcement that the travel documents pertain to "females whom Jeffrey Epstein and his associates were involved with".

A further photograph shows Epstein positioned at a desk closely flanked by three women whose identities have been obscured - one has her palm on Epstein's chest under his garment, and a second is crouching to examine a nearby laptop. Epstein appears to be aiding the third individual attach a wristband.

A further photo released is a image of SMS messages from an unidentified individual who says they have been supplied "some girls" and are demanding "$one thousand dollars per girl".

Photograph Disclosure Occurs Before DOJ Deadline

The body has a vast number of photos in its holdings from the Epstein estate, which are "both disturbing and ordinary," its statement on recently explained.

The oversight panel first legally compelled the estate of Epstein, who died in a New York prison in 2019 while pending legal proceedings on charges of sex trafficking crimes, in August.

The images and documents the Epstein estate submitted to the committee are distinct from what is commonly termed "the Epstein documents". That material are papers within the DOJ's control connected to its independent inquiry into Epstein.

In accordance with the Epstein Files Transparency Act, which the President enacted recently, the DOJ has until 19 December to release its files. The scope of the contents contained in the DOJ's documents is unknown, and it's probable that a large amount of the information will be heavily obscured, akin to Congressional materials
