The City of Angels witnessed citywide festivities after the Dodgers clinched a thrilling seven-match World Series title. Fans across the globe joined Angelenos in celebration, marking the first time in a quarter-century that a team has secured consecutive championships.
Celebration Parade Attracts Massive Turnout
Los Angeles area celebrations included a downtown parade on Monday morning, a ticketed rally at Dodger Stadium, and impromptu gatherings across the city.
Online footage depict thousands of Angelenos packing downtown streets, many displaying handmade banners and team flags. The team was seen riding high on a open-top bus through the masses, raising the championship trophy proudly.
