The Co-Creator of Call of Duty, Dies in an LA Traffic Collision
Vince Zampella, who helped create the wildly popular franchise Call of Duty, has tragically died in a vehicle crash in Los Angeles, California aged 55.
His passing was announced by Electronic Arts, which owns Respawn Entertainment, the development studio he co-founded.
The celebrated industry figure died after his vehicle was involved in a crash and was engulfed in flames on a motorway in the Los Angeles area on Sunday morning, as reported by.
"This is a heartbreaking loss, and our hearts are with Vince's family, his loved ones, and the countless individuals inspired by his creative vision," an official with Electronic Arts stated.
